Dragon-like, I hoard my miles and points. My first rewards flight was round-trip from the US to Rome first class/Delta One. I actually preferred ITA's business class over D1, especially the pre-suite version of D1.
i am hoarding my hotel points for a true dream destination eventually 😅 but right now i’m okay with using miles for shorter flights if i see a good deal! -annie
I've found that hotel points are easier to accumulate than miles. Of course, I have the top tier Hilton Amex, which helps. About 3 years ago I spent a week in a Hilton in Old Town Prague with points + “fifth night free” + free night certificate. So I definitely feel like I get my money's worth with the card's annual fee.
